Application or web browser issues?

If the Industry Smart application is running slow, won't load or isn’t displaying correctly, there are several things you can do.  

 

Latest version of your browser?

First check that you have installed the latest version of the browser you are using - you may need to update Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer or Firefox.  

 

Clear your cache?

If you are working with the latest browser, you may need to clear the cache or your temporary internet files.  All browsers have a different way of doing this.  We have documented the main browsers below.  

If you need further assistance, contact your Organisation Administrator or your IT Support.  

 

Chrome 

1. Close the application and the current window.

2.  Open a new Chrome window.  

3.  Click the History tab at the top of the screen.

4. Click the Show Full History option (this displays at the very bottom of the drop down list).

5. Click the Clear browsing data button.  This displays a pop-up box where you can select what you want to delete.  

6.  Click the Clear browsing data button again.  

7.  Close the Chrome window, open a new window and reload the Industry Smart application.  

 

 Safari

1. Close the application and close the current window.  

2. Open a new Safari window.

3. Click the History tab at the top of the screen.

4. Click the Clear History option (this displays at the very bottom of the drop down list).  This displays the pop-up box.

5.  Click the Clear button.  

6.  Close the Safari window, open a new window and reload the Industry Smart application.  

 

Internet Explorer

1.  Open a new Internet Explorer window.

2.  Click the Tools Menu and select Internet Options.  

3. On the General tab, under Browsing history, click Delete.

4.  Un-check the Preserve Favorites website data box.

5. Check the Temporary Internet files, Cookies, and History boxes.

6. The Form data, Passwords, and inPrivate Filtering data boxes may be left un-checked. You can check them to delete this data if you choose.

7. Click Delete.

8. When finished, click OK to return to your Internet Explorer window.

9. Close the Internet Explorer window, open a new window and reload the Industry Smart application.   

 

Firefox

1.  Click on History 

2.  Click on Clear Recent History 

3.  Close your current Firefox window, open a new window and reload the Industry Smart application.
